THIS IS MY STORY
Payton was raised in a small town that you've probably never heard of - Howell, Michigan. She trained as a competitive gymnast for ten years, establishing skills in work ethic, attention to detail, and teamwork. However, the most important thing she established was that she didn't enjoy competitive gymnastics. After auditioning for her first musical in the 8th grade, her love for performing surfaced and she never looked back.
After immersing herself in the theatre community at home, she was accepted into the musical theatre program at Western Michigan University. There, her love for performing only increased as she pursued her BFA degree. She also explored theater outside of the university throughout her four years in college, performing in theaters all over the country.
She is currently touring the US on the 1st National Tour of Tootsie the Musical.
